Stuff it...with Nutella

Tomorrow is a day of football, turkey comas and maybe a drunk uncle or two. It is also a time when many households are filled to the brim with out-of-town guests. So, I thought I would share an easy Nutella dish to make for the holiday weekend. I promise you that you will not have any leftovers!

Nutella Stuffed French Toast Casserole

You will need:

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 1/4 cups of milk

  • 1 Tablespoon of vanilla extract

  • 1 cup of Nutella

  • 8 slices of brioche bread

  • 7x11 baking dish

  • Butter (enough to grease the baking dish)

  • Powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Whisk together the eggs, milk and vanilla extract in a medium sized bowl

  2. Spread about 2 tablespoons of Nutella on each brioche bread slice

  3. Roll the bread into a cylinder shape and dip into the egg mixture

  4. Arrange the Nutella rolls in rows in the greased baking dish

  5. Pour the remaining egg mixture over the Nutella rolls

  6. Refrigerate the casserole for at least 2 hours so the egg mixture can be absorbed by the bread

  7. Bake in the oven, for 30-35 minutes, at 375 degrees

  8. Melt a little Nutella and drizzle over the top of casserole and dust it with powdered sugar

You can serve it with whipped cream, fresh fruit or even maple syrup.

Enjoy!!!
